Please read the terms and conditions. Booking is confirmation that you have read and agreed.

Arrival: The Yurt will be available from 4pm on your day of arrival and must be left in a clean condition not later than 11am on your day of departure. If you would like to arrange to arrive earlier or leave a bit later please get in touch and we will see what we can arrange.

Departure: On departure the yurt is to be left clean and tidy with rubbish all sorted in to appropriate bins.

Booking: When you make a booking and payment an email confirming the dates and times of your holiday is sent to you. Booking confirmation is considered the establishment of a legal contract.

Cancellation by You: We understand that circumstances change and emergencies occur. If you are unable to come and have to cancel we will do our best to replace your booking. If we can re-let the yurt we will refund your payment less 25% administration charge. If we cannot re-let your payment will not be refunded.

Cancellation by Us: Extreme Conditions: Croft 3 reserves the right to cancel a holiday in light of extreme conditions. In these very unlikely circumstances we will try to find an alternative option or your full payment will be returned to you. Emergency Contingency: Croft 3 reserves the right to cancel a holiday at short notice if for unforeseeable circumstances we are unable to provide safe accommodation in a yurt due to extreme conditions, ill health, fire or administration or any other extenuating circumstance. Under such unlikely circumstances your full payment will be returned. Croft 3 cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss caused by cancellation.

Rubbish: We encourage guests to join us in being as environmentally friendly as possible. Sorting bins are supplied for your rubbish and recycling.

Breakages and Damage: We accept normal wear and tear, please do let us know if anything is broken so we can replace it quickly. Should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you will be asked to replace/ pay for the item at cost. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a yurt has been left in an unacceptable condition.

Children: Croft 3 is an amazing place for children to stay with lots of space to play and explore. We don’t recommend you bring toddlers however as the yurt is on a raised platform with steps and walkways. Some walkways are over boggy bits of woodland and do not have barriers. If you would like a fireguard to protect children around the stove please ask; we do not automatically put it in as it takes up space. Croft 3 accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site.

Pets: We ask that you don’t bring dogs because there are sheep and cats on the croft. Please do not let the cats into the yurt as we don’t want to endanger other guests who may have allergies.

Fires: Please only have outdoor fires in the fire bowl provided in the yurt enclosure or the fire pit. The fire should be managed and controlled at all times and care taken with the surrounding vegetation especially at times when there is a lot of dry, dead material.

Croft: Croft 3 Yurt is on a croft with sheep roaming. Please take care to close gates. There are also bees within a small walled enclosure, please do not go within the enclosure.

Climate: Croft 3 is located in an area of high rainfall and high winds are also possible. The yurt is made from natural breathable material and occasionally may leak, we will do everything we can do ensure a fully dry yurt, but a harmless leak or two is all part of the experience!

Noise: One of the qualities of the Croft 3 Yurt glamping experience is peace and quiet, also we are located next to a busy (peaceful) campsite. We ask guests to not make excessive noise or cause disturbance to our neighbours or us.

Occupation: The Yurt easily accommodates a family of 4, we can accommodate a family of up to 6 by adding air beds by arrangement only.

Negligence: Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.

Keys: Keys to the yurt should be left in the yurt on departure. Any lost or unreturned keys will be charged at £10.00 for replacement cost.

Stolen Property: croft 3 cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. You can lock the yurt but you are advised to take valuables or keep them in your car.

No Smoking Policy: Please do not smoke in the yurt or the huts. If you smoke outside please take care to dispose of cigarette butts in a rubbish bin.

Wildlife: There can be a lot of local of wildlife around. Check before sitting down in the grass. Bring insect repellent in the summer months for the midges. Ticks are present in bracken and undergrowth.

Hunting and Fireworks: No firearms, hunting paraphernalia or fireworks are permitted.

Yurt Structure: It is prohibited to interfere or adapt the structure of the yurt in any way.

Unloading: There is parking space for up to 2 cars down by the barn. You can unload beside the yurt gate and use the wheelbarrow provided to get your belongings to the yurt.

Booking age/ group policy: We do not accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18 or from stag parties.
